Bad hayfever in a baby - any alternatives out there?

Hi, My 10mo old has bad hayfever (not helped by living close to several fields of rapeseed in full flower) - runny nose and horribly swollen eyelids, to the point that she can barely open them. She has been prescribed Piriton which defintiely helps but she is still symptomatic if we are outside a lot (have v active DD1). Is there anything else I can give her (as well/instead) to help? She is so miserable with it, it's awful. Am happy to give the Piriton but anything to reduce the symptoms would be good. Have heard of local honey (although can't give it til 1 yr old?) but no idea if at all effective or how often you give it etc.

Any advice or tips?

My DH is horribly allergic to rapeseed in flower. He takes Zirtek (antihistamine with non drowsy effects). I have also heard that local honey may help but I don't think he's ever tried it. Does seem to be manageable now with antihistamines. However, we don't go near rapeseed fields in the spring or summer - last time we did he started to get weals and swell up. Am not sure what you do if you live near them. He's in his '40s now - grew up in country but we now live in town.

My homeopath gives us pulsatilla 30c. We take one a day during the summer and it keeps it away.
If symptoms are acute it can be taken more frequently.

Thanks. Can hOmeopathy c be taken by babies - and does it a
Work? Slightly sceptical but prepared to try. Does any one have any tips to reduce symptoms alongside antihistamines? As the field of rapeseed is right by our garden is difficult to avoid!

My dd has had homeopathy since weaning. Probably best to take advice on dosing levels, rather than just treating with remedies from a health food shop.

I'm not sure if you can leave a message on the association of homeopaths website.
