Anyone allergic to eggs? What foods should to avoid?

I'm sure my 3yr old is allergic to eggs. She has eczema but also has this awful rash all over her body. I'm starting to notice that it's worse when she's had things like ice cream and cake so I'm trying to eliminate foods with egg to test it and see if her skin improves.
Are there other egg-containing foods that we should avoid? Thanks

If you think she has that serious a reaction to a food you should take her to your gp pronto for some tests. There's not egg in ice cream is there? they will advise you to try an elimination diet first of all.

Yes some ice cream has egg in it. But you need proper testing - blood or skin prick test, so go to your GP.

you need to see gp it could be the start of poriasis is she sick when she eats the foods you think she is allergic to.

My 6 year old has lots of food allergies inc eggs but never an all over rash over a period of time maybe try piriton if that works it is probably an allergy.

Thanks for your replies.
The GP has seen the rash several times. We even took photos to the Consultant at a private appointment. He thought it looked viral and wasn't much help tbh. It can be quite mild - ranging from dry pink-brown small, slightly raised patches - particularly on her torso, arms and legs to more raised inflammed patches which when she itches then turns into small white bumps on top of inflammed skin. The areas where her eczema persists also become more inflammed and often bleed. Sometimes it's just the usual eczema patches - knees, feet, hands, neck and not the rash. She's itching most of the time though. We've also been using steroid cream for over a year now which concerns me.
Recently after seeing the dermatology nurse, we've been using wet bandages in the worst areas which helps stop the itching at night. We give her Piriton when it's at its worst. I use Surecare washing powder, Oilatum in the bath and an emolient as a soap substitute plus all the other emolients.
I understand that eczema is a chronic condition and we can't cure it but I'm sure there's some underlying allergy that's making it worse. The GP (I took her back again on Wednesday) said that they are reluctant to test for allergies as they're unreliable but if we're really sure there's a link with something then the Dermatology clinic should arrange it. My DH took her to the last Derm appointment but the nurse wasn't very helpful about allergy testing.
So this is why I want to try and test things like eggs to see if there's a connection as I just don't know what else to do.

Also meant to add - no she's not sick with foods.

Absolutely loads of foods CAN contain eggs, sorry! From meat products (sausages, burgers, pate) to breadcrumbed and battered things, to most cakes and pudding (inc often ice cream) to believe it or not, flavourings and cheese!

This is a good link.

Meant to add - I'm sorry your dd is going through this, I hope you can find out the trigger.
