Aveeno for eczema

Dear more experienced eczema Mummies!

I'm new to this whole eczema business and trying out different creams. Have used Cetraben with mixed results. Doublebase brought DD out in an angry red rash, so that is in the bin.

Aveeno seems to be highly recommended. I noticed Aveeno, in the sort of "normal" moisturiser section of Boots today (on 3 for 2 at that) and was wondering if that is the stuff people are referring to for eczema sufferers?

Has anyone had any experience with this one? Good? Bad? Indifferent?

If so, Boots, here I come!

Thanks

I've found zinc & castor oil cream useful for eczema, also pure potions skin salavations.
I didnt find aveeno at all useful.

Hi everyone,

I have a 5 year old who has eczema and is allergic to wheat, egged tomatoes nuts peppers egg milk.

Can anyone suggest a soup I might do for her, it seems nearly everything contains all or most or some of the ingredients noted above

I am a fan of Aveeno. I also like Cetraben, Doublebase and good old aqueous creme, Diprobase, Dermal and Balneum. I find I have to keep to rotating for them to be effective.
