first aid for jellyfish allergy?

dd has developed a nasty allergy to jellyfish stings - and for some reason she appears to be a jellyfish magnet! Every time she goes in the sea she gets stung and the last time she had a really bad allergic reaction. Her whole foot got red and swollen and it was extremely painful - the pain didn't subside for hours and she still has the scar on her foot 4 months later. Normal first aid (i.e. vinegar spray) didn't help

She's starting to develop a bit of a phobia about stings and we're going on holiday to a potential/probable jellyfish-prone site at Easter. I"m hoping that if she knows that we have effective remedies which will work straight away she'll be less nervous of them

Any experience/ideas please?

DH is a scuba diver, his remedy for jelly stings is to rub a handful of sand over the part which has been stung then some urine.
I've never asked him whose pee he uses.
You could use a humourous approach, ie, let's find a lovely boy to piddle on you.

thanks but don't think that's going to work - dd doesn't have a normal reaction anymore - it's much more extreme

i don't know anything about the sort of reaction, but does she have an epipen?

she's pretty right to be nervous of them though! the aim i guess is not to get stung in the first place so is there some kind of preventive clothing or anything that might make her feel safer?
