I'm thinking here of egg/gluten/dairy allergy sufferers.

We mainly shop at Tesco, Sainsburys and Holland & Barrett. My MIL got some unusual products from Asda, but DS rejected them all (jam tarts & apple pies).

Are the chocolate cake bars the same from everywhere - the only difference between Asda/Sainsburys & Tesco seems to be price.

Is there anywhere good online, or does delivery costs rule that out?

We have issues with the colouring in bisto, and if we get a pale version it's got MSG. Nice to know vegans like coloured and tasty food like the rest of us!

Chandra - all the lists work well if you've only got one allergy/intolerance don't they! We found the same in M&S. They really helpfully printed off these 40-odd page lists of gluten free and dairy free, but no list of gluten & dairy free By the time I'd cross-referenced the things that looked nice, we were left with Percy Pigs

Just looked at the ASDA list - that's really well laid out. I might have a go at putting it all into Excel to cross reference if there is anything gluten and dairy free!

DH wrote a script to compare the lists automathically, unfortunately, as you said, once that you have work out which things are safe you end up only with fruit and vegetables, unprocessed meats and a handful of ASDA products (non ASDA brands seem not to have been indluded)
