Have suffered from sneezing and runny nose since september and am beginning to notice that it greatly improves when i go outdoors. It seems to coincide with when i putthe heating on. We have oak and tile floors downstairs so I don't think it could be a dust allergy. Does anyone else suffer with this?

have you tried opening windows and doors to air yr house? My dh gets all runny nosed sometimes & airing the house really helps (for a few months, then he gets snotty again & we do the airing thing again)

good luck!!

have you tried anti-allergy bedding? i would get like this every morning some years ago. i still dont know what it was but the bedding seemed to help. (i also got rid of my feather pillows and duvet). the heating makes ny nose bunged up, rather than sneezy and runny.

I've actually tried turning the heating down a couple of degrees and feel much better today, it may just be coincidence but hopefully I've found the answer. Thanks for all the advice.

I posted this ages ago but as I've now definately traced the source of my sneezing etc I felt I should share it incase anyone else has the same problem. Following MN advice I got rid of my down duvet and purchased an artificial one. After about 4 days the symptoms completely stopped. I now feel loads better in the morning and plan to start exercising again in the new year.
