My DD has just turned one (today!) and I am concerned about a dairy allergy. I exclusively BF until she was 6 mos, gradually introduced formula and stopped BF at 7 mos. She has since then developed rough skin on her face and had problems with bad wind right up until she was about 10 mos. She eats cheese, yoghurt and milk in porridge and other cooking but has never touched butter.
Last Thursday I decided to stop giving her bottles and gave cows milk in a cup and straight away the rough skin on her face became red almost like a switch had been flipped. She also had three mucousy poops (sorry if anyone is eating). So I stopped the milk and gave her toddler milk instead. This seems to have helped but by Sunday she was refusing the toddler milk and she is starting to cry halfway through her breakfast (porridge made with milk) even though she has always loved this.
This sound like a (mild) dairy allergy to anyone?? If so any advice?
