My Ds is allergic to wheat- RAST was negative for wheat but when he eats it he gets hives. The dietician said to keep trialling every couple of months. Lately I couldn't get enough wheat into him to see if he was reacting- he is a poor eater. However yesterday his sister gave him a cream cracker he loved it and ate it all. 30 mins later he had 4 hives on the back of his head. He doesn't have any swelling and the hives don't bother him.

He can eat half a waffle, small bit of bread etc with no reaction so my question is should I be avoiding wheat totally between challenges or is it ok to keep giving bits of bread/ bread sticks etc?
