I took dd1 out for a meal for the very first time last week. She's 3 and it was to mcdonalds! They had all the allergy info on the back of the paper on the tray, I could have cried it was so easy, and so lovely having her join in with us all. Granted, all she ate were the chips and so she was starving when we got home, but still, she could have had more.
Are there any other restaurant chains that are that good for dealing with allergies? I had a look a while ago and couldn't really find anything - eg pizza express gave her the option of a green salad and water, nice. It would be do nice to have more options.
Btw, my mum was with us, and even she was surprised we'd not been out before. Makes me realise how little parents of non allergic kids must appreciate how restrictive it can be.
