Egg allergy advice and mmr

My ds reacted to egg when he tried it a few months ago. Doc said to try a small bit when he's 10 months. He is now 10 months but haven't tried it yet. He did have a few weeks ago a few crumbs of choc brownies my dp had made and I thought he got a bit blotchy around his mouth but wasn't sure.
Thurs we go to 1 st birthday and we adults had some lemon cake. Gave ds 1 crumb and hecameup all blotchy on his chin and later in the day had a sore bum. Obviously don't want to try him with egg if he reacts to the egg in one crumb of cake.
Anyway to my questions, am taking him to doc in Tuesday. What do I need to Ask the doc? Howbad is this likely to be and what about the mmr? The doc said before that mmr is safe even though it's made with egg or somethingbut how can it be? Thanks for any help you can give me.

My ds is allergic to egg (lips and mouth blister and swell quite severely, projectile vomiting, diarrhoea, all over rash etc all happen pretty much instantly)

We discovered this when he had egg for the first time at about 10 months. Cake made him vomit too then but by 2 he could tolerate baked goods just not pure form eggs. Our consultant did say this is usually the case as the protein structures changed or something (sorry, I didn't really mentally retain the fine detail Grin. At 4 he still can't have pure egg and we have been discharged by hospital as said it is likely to be with him for life now. We were advised to try on his skin annually to check as causes hives through touch for him.

He was admitted to hospital for first MMR as a precaution but suffered no ill effect. He had his booster a couple of months ago at drs surgery. You could always ask if possible for first dose to be given in hospital if you are worried.

dd is severely allergic to egg, she is now nearly 3. After many questions and trips back and forth to the docs, phone calls etc it eventually took the head of immunisations of the PCT to say we could go ahead with it. They said it wasn't necessary to go to hospital as she was not anaphylactic and we could have it at the doctors surgery as long as they were pre-warned, so they could be adequately staffed just in case something happened. They also said to stay at the surgery for around half an hour after the jab in case of a reaction. We have epipens anyway and were advised to keep them handy just in case after taking her home.
She's had all 3 jabs now and luckily for us has not had any reaction at all.

Thanks for answering. Sounds like mmr should neon then as don't think he's got a bad allergy as such. But if he reacted to the egg in a crumb of cake how bad will it be if he has egg? Will he just be ultra blotchy/upset tum or could it be more serious?
Do I need to ask for a test to make sure when I take him to docs or will it justbe a case of avoiding egg from now on?
