Cutting out dairy

I'm going to try cutting out dairy due to bloating and extreme gas!!
I really don't know where to start.
Can anyone just throw some very quick&easy meal and snack ideas at me to get me started?

Cutting out dairy is much easier than you might think.
I had to do it while breastfeeding my DS.
You don't need to change the meals and snacks that you eat, just replace the dairy products with alternatives.
For milk use soya milk, rice milk or other such substitutions. They taste much better than they did a few years ago and Alpro has a wide range of different milks including flavoured, high calcium etc.
For yogurt you can eat soya products again. Alpro also do a good range of these and they are yummy.
For cheese you might find that those made from other milks are better. My son was fine as long as I stuck to goat and sheep milk cheeses.

Soya milk etc can be eated in all cooked dishes, on cereal, in tea etc in just the same way as dairy, so you really don't need to change your diet at all if you don't want to.

Oh ok sounds easy enough. Iv been checking packets all day for things. I don't know what milk is in unless I check. Sometimes it's not obvious that milk& egg is present.

Yes, I understand.
Actually, to be honest, I didn't worry too much about the small quantities that were already cooked into things.
My reason for cutting it out was different from yours (DS vomitted all his milk after every feed if I'd had any dairy), but I found that cutting out the big items were enough.
The change in him was instant and extreme. He stopped vomitting completely within 24 hours of my last milk. When I had little bits I could see his reaction return in proportion to the amount I had consumed.

Ruth, what age was your son when you re-introduced dairy? Can he tolerate it himself now?
