The dietician has advised us to get a medic alert bracelet or similar for dd2 who has an epipen for egg, nut and sesame allergies aswell as dairy and certain other foods.

She is only just 2- anyone got advice on what kind of thing to go for?

My thoughts are that because your child is still so young and not going out and about independently that you would obviously advise any child carers of her specific allergies. And any other time you would be with her to monitor her food/drinks. Therefore if you do go for a Medic Alert bracelet don't worry about listing all allergens. On these you are limited to the number of lines/characters of text. My dd's bracelet says Anaphylactic & Asthmatic - Epipen & Ventolin and her name, DOB and m contact number. My sister in law is a paramedic and says that they don't actually need to know what the allergen is as it makes no difference to the treatment they give unless of course it is an allergy to any medications.
Personally we used ICE gems for our bracelet as my dd is 12 and wanted something 'cool'!!
For younger children you can get alert bands which look less like jewellery and are more eye catching. I have a particular one in mind if you want to PM me for a weblink?

i didn't bother until school started tbh - as tiny said, there will be a parent or knowledgeable adult accompanying younger dcs.
