How suitable is oat milk for babies?

Ds is 9 months old and has cmp and egg allergy.

He is still breastfed and I shall continue to do so. However, I would like to introduce more variety to his diet.
I have read about the unsuitability of rice and soya milk and was wondering whether oat milk would be a suitable alternative to dairy in cereal or to cook with.

TIA

For CMP allergic children, goats milk is not usually recommended due to the fact that most will also be allergic to other animal milks too.

We use calcium enriched oat milk for cooking (so that ds2 can have the same food as everyone else). We sometimes use oatly cream for cooking (if you need something richer)- but this does not contain calcium.

DS2 used to be on neocate, but recently we stopped that and he is on oat milk as a main drink, but he is somewhat older (2.3 years). It has the same fat content as semi-skimmed milk and therefore I don't think it would be ok as a main milk drink for children under 2. Soya milk is also not recommended as a main milk drink for under 2's due to the low fat content.

If you want something to supplement bf for drinking, I'd recommend you get your gp to prescribe something like Pepti or Nutramigen (Pepti tastes slightly better), but I think oat milk is fine to cook with.
