I’ve never heard of this, but Jesus, yes, that’s expensive (about £10,000 🙄). It’s a corporate style coaching programme for people who likely need residential rehab but probably don’t want to take time away from work and life to do that.
There are lots of much more affordable options that work really well for many people. What else have you tried? I’m a big fan of peer support. I’d look at peer support groups combined with coaching. Peer support can be free or close to free (I pay £14.99 a month for access to a group) and coaching is £60 ish a session on average. Lots of coaches have their own communities of people supporting each other, so if you find someone who fits you, you can also find a ready made support community too.
The problem with this sort of corporate model is that it does very much depend on you doing the work. Great if you do, but if you get stuck, relapse, get ill, life happens and you can’t fully engage, you’re spending a lot of money to not get much back. Unlike with say residential rehab, you’re there and not drinking. But when you’re at home, it’s easier to avoid putting in the work, even when you’re spending just as much money. I personally think genuine (free or nearly free) support is really empowering. You need to build a community if you want to stop and stay stopped and you need access to that community to sustainable long term.
