Morning all, I really want to do the next 10 days alcohol free. I say 10 days because that takes us to Easter Saturday, when I know I will be celebrating with my OH, and there will be wine, etc. Plus, I've found in the past, that short, realistic goals are best for me.
Is there anyone here who can join me, for mutual support and encouragement?
I've tried lots of initiatives, to varying degrees of success. I've never asked this on here before. This is my first post.
I know 10 days af will result in a weight loss, better sleep, better skin, and, most importantly, a more positive attitude. I found myself yesterday in danger of getting depressed, and I know I need to remain upbeat and positive, so I need help. We can check in daily, and support each other.

I'm having a wobble. I think it's boredom. I've been shopping, though, so at least there's no real temptation, in that am not going out again.
I bought chocolate and some crisps. And ice cream lollies.
I am hungry, too. My lunch is nearly ready, so I should be OK after that.
My skin looks really good today, and my make-up the way I like it. When I am hungover, no amount of make-up renders me acceptable!
I think it's passed !!

Morning all on Day 5. I am half way through! I say that like it's been majorly difficult, but it hasn't really.
Yesterday, I did have a fleeting moment, but it soon went away.
I've been trying to look after my diet, but having the odd treat, and that's working. Going to continue to eat healthily now til Saturday and increase the exercise, so I feel even better.
It's working!

Morning, all. Day 6 and feeling good. It just dawned on me this morning that the difference between not drinking at the weekend and drinking is about £50 !!
Plus, I have no hangxiety (sp?!), I've slept well, my skin is good, I've had no bad headaches and, I've eaten ( and enjoyed ) my meals.
I compare the meal issue to last Saturday when I was hungover, ordered Domino's, and decided £40 later, that it was awful.
Day 10 in sight, but it's definitely still one day at a time, as yesterday was a little difficult.

Morning I had a wobble but I’m back on it! Looking forward to the sun day despite being stuck in an office all day! Well done @Amdone123!
