Sobriety literature for wine addicts that don't binge

Have been AF for a month and am hovering up every sobriety book/blog I can find.

Whilst I have found them useful, esp This Naked Mind and Dairy of a Sober Mummy, they all reference experiences of binge drinking and wild, dangerous behaviour.
My situation is much more low key and boring. Wine o'clock arrives most evenings (afternoons at weekend) about 5.30 and I'll have 2-3 large glasses. Been the same for at least 20 years.

I don't drink more than that, don't get off my face and don't do stupid things. Boring but just as corrosive as binge drinking.

Does anyone have any recommendations on support for this type of drinker? Middle aged SAHM who uses wine as a habit?
I did join the Club Soda FB group but couldn't relate to all the stories of binge drinking, blackouts and police cells!

I used to drink like you but never as early as 5.30
I decided aged 51 to stop because it was affecting my sleep and once you are over fifty if you drink excessively (and you are) you start looking like a drinker and I didn't want that. I didn't find club soda just for complete binders and the Mindful drinking group is good. I liked William Porter's Alcohol Explained book best.
I never went AF just decided to stop drinking in the week and one bottle of wine max Fri - Sun. You need to break the habit, find something else to do at your trigger time. I am sporty so just did more sport. Keep busy, find an alternative drink. If you can't stop drinking for a few nights consecutively you might find you do have a problem and need to go AF for a while.

I hear you. I’m more or less the same. It’s really hard to see myself as an alcoholic and relate to those stories. I m aware that my alcohol consumption is too high (for health reasons) but if the worst that happens is that I’m a bit tired in the mornings - well, it’s not exactly hitting rock bottom is it ;-)

For me, I’m trying to see it as a lifestyle improvement. Drinking definitely affects my sleep, so that’s one good reason to cut down. Also, my evenings are a lot more productive when I’m AF, so I’m planning to get some projects on the go rather than sitting watching Netflix with a glass of wine every night. Doing “Sec-tember» and Dry January every year is a good restart. I aim for what the pp does - AF through the week, then just a bottle shared with DH Friday to Sunday. Oh, and push back yr first drink to 6pm, then 6:30, then 7pm. I usually find that the urge to drink is strongest btw 5pm and 8:30, do reducing the window helps.

I'm not drinking now until a special occasion in mid September. My drinking is a lot like yours OP, but since I hit the menopause I just can't do it. It affects my sleep, I am getting fat and it doesn't help the mood swings. Today is the first day and I'm already sad about not having that large glass of wine at 7

There is a series of very useful short videos on YouTube called How to effortlessly drink less wine. I think the woman is called Carolyn Cowan. Her approach is about cutting down, or stopping completely if you want to, quite holistic and very good.
