Pleae bear with me. My husband and I have been TTC our first for just over 2 years. I have now had 3 miscarriages. I have been thinking about adoption for a while now and we have had tentative discussions about it. Although we're not ready to stop TTC yet realistically I think we can only put ourselves through one more miscarriage. I am fully aware that we will need to be 100% ready to stop TTC before we even start looking into adoption seriously but I would like to start exploring it a little more, particularly people's experience of adopting/being adopted rather than the process itself. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for books about this that I can start reading?

Thank you for taking the time to read my somewhat waffly post.

Sally Donovan's "No Matter What' and "An Unofficial Guide to Adoption" are brilliant and very honest. She's a brave and funny woman.

Yes, I second those. And, of course, hang around here. Flowers

So sorry for your losses.

I really enjoyed 'Instant Mom' by Nia Vardalos from My Big Fat Greek Wedding. It takes you through the process too, but there's a lot after her DD comes home.

Also worth looking at blogs. I like We Are Family.

Good luck with your thinking and sorry you've had such a hard time.
