Its been two years 15 days since I last saw my son. 745 days since I said goodbye to my gorgeous little boy .But I am slowly making a life for myself and hopefully making him proud. I haven't forgotten him. I won't. I can't but I am doing well. I went for my first full time paid job interview last week and I got a phone call the following day to offer me the position ..
Its taken a lot of baby steps to get me to the place I am now at. I start the first Monday in August. Shortly after my birthday. I'm so proud of how far I have come .I can't wait to write in my letter to him that I am working full time.And doing well .
I've also been dieting hard and lost 15pounds in the last 9 weeks .And I am continuingto lose weight .Im cooking daily .Avoiding take a ways (though I want pizza out my first pay check but its the first since I started dieting). I'm looking and feeling better .I'm no longer on my anti depressants and though I have Down days I cope with them now .

I couldn't have got here without the support and love of my best friend and of you guy so thank you x

so it would seem! Had revealed a bit much on here - I too am back to work in my previous professional role. DD used to misunderstand "mad as a box of frogs" as "mad as a box of snails". Makes me smile to remember :) /end hijack/

Well week two is over with. Been working hard but really enjoying it. Can't wait for September and to meet the kids that will be on site .I'm seemingly doing well and am hoping to get this extention on my contract. Hours are good too. I work flexi time and have already booked my first days leave for the end of this month. I have liaised with the social worker to ensure I receive my contact hence my days annual leave (nicely timed before the bank holiday)

Things seem really positive and I feel quite good in myself if a little tired .I also may have a small amount of romance in the air too

I decided to ask someone last night (via text whilst drunk cos I'm a chicken) whether we would ever be more than what we are now. They want to see me Wednesday. I'm either going to be heartbroken .As confused as I am now or his :) I've already cooked for him before and that didn't scare him off......

Well in the romance I haven't seen him but we are talking more. He's currently got his kid for the summer holidays so Child care is difficult and I know he doesn't get to see them as muchas he would like. Kids come first. Always.

But work is going well .Been working on some really important stuff this week. Tomorrow i have a late start nd early finish. I'm looking forward to the weekend tho now :)

It's great to hear you sounding so upbeat Miracle. And maybe a slower start to a possible relationship is not a bad thing, it gives you the opportunity to get to know him better first.

I've been getting to know him slowly over the last year or so. I went out with him Saturday night .Originally the plan was to go to a party but we ended up staying in cuddling and talking. Then we came back to mine for a bit to munch chocolates and watch a film together. I really enjoyed myself. We both opened up a bit more so I do feel closer to him now but he's got things to deal with and doesn't feel ready for a relationship so I will remain friends with him but not put myself on hold

After all the positives of the recent weeks. I went for an ultra sound scan today and pretty much was told that my ovaries are getting worse and having another baby will not be likely .(i was told I would need treatment for my son) my pains have been gradually Getting worse over the last few months .I'm back to specialist next month.
Although I had no Plans anytime soon to have another I do want another at some point. I had hoped that with time my issues would improve. Instead they are getting worse. :'(

So so sorry to hear this news.
Really hoping that when you see specialist they have some positives for you.
