These are a couple of posters who have been absolutely fundamental in helping adopters through these boards over many years. I just wanted to acknowledge the help and support they have provided to me personally. Whether it was questions about kitchen extensions midway through stage 2 (what was I thinking!), celebrating milestones or calming my panic, they have given a huge amount of themselves and their experience for no other reason than they care.
I know that many people contribute to this space but these 3 respond to every question like it's the first time they've been asked it rather than the hundredth. And despite having their own challenges, they always offer support when needed.
I am and will always be very grateful to you all. Thank you.

Thank you namesmayhavebeenchanged and Picklesontoast I am truly honoured to be mentioned in the same breath as Lilka, Kew, Devora and Kristina. I learned from them how complex and yet how rewarding all this is. The most important thing they taugh me was how important our little ones are and how we need to put their needs at the centre of what we do. That's the ideal for all parents, I know, and it is hard, so it is very good to come hear and find support and encouragement when things go wrong as well as when things go well.

Just wanted to echo the thanks, this forum and all the posters who contribute has helped more than I can say. It's so reassuring to know that however hard you're finding things, there is real understanding and support on here. I thought my friends had got it after long chats with them pre-adoption, but their reactions since have made me feel overprotective and neurotic at times; it can be so tough with so little real support from other adopters in daily life, that this forum, and all posters have been invaluable. X
