DD2 is nearly 10 and has been with us for 7 years. She is emotionally young for her age.
She knows the basics of her background and reasons for being adopted, but will not read or let me read to her any details from her life story book.
She will flick through the pictures in it though.
She just doesn't seem to be emotionally ready for any details.

Should I be concerned? DD1 was much more involved at the same age, but she had 'lived it' so a lot of her LSB is memories for her, whereas for DD2 it's not stuff she remembers.

15 year old. Very much so, always has been very interested, asks lots of questions.
13 year old. Not at all, she listens when dd1 asks questions but rarely asks any herself.
7 year old. Very interested, but more about BM addiction than hear actual adoption.
None of them really look at their books but tbh the books are rubbish.
It sounds like you are prepared to talk about things if your dd asks, so, don't worry. She knows she is adopted, which is sometimes all they want to know.
