Congratulations! I'll never forget my first meetings with my two. Such special moments and it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy to think of other people having them.

I am going to pretend that my first meetings with DS were warm and fuzzy, whereas in fact he took one look at me and screamed the place down and pretty much didn't stop during our first meeting!

I don't think I've been tireder in my life than I was those first two weeks. But even with all that it was so exciting, just being on the brink of a new life.

This board really is like an online kind of family in many ways, and I know I've got emotionally invested in people's journeys. It's so wonderful to see after all these years (literally years on the board for you Italian!) everyone's dreams coming true.

Congratulations Italian and MrsBW - such wonderful news. So happy for you both.

Italian - by the end of the introductions, I was in love with my boy - but it has grown, even though he has become erm...naughtier as the months have gone by. At the first meeting, I knew he was right. My Mum says she fell in love with DS immediately - not entirely sure that is true - but she also felt a strong connection.

So happy for you both.
