Meeting him today.........

we have been matched with our little boy and are meeting him today.
We have waited for this for years. I can't wait. I have been up since 0530 as I couldn't sleep. Feel really, really excited, nervous and anxious. The first meeitng will be a short intro. He is just over a year old so still young.

I pray it all goes well.

We have had the most amazing Christmas. DS is adorable. Everyone comments on how beautiful he is and how amazingly well behaved, cute and loving he is. We are truely blessed.....
I did have amoment of sadness for his birth family on the run up to Christmas. Whilst we were in the midst of happiness and excitement their world must seem so void without DS. Though he has never lived with them there was supervised contact. So, so sad for them.
DH was taking DS to get him ready for bed earlier and I said my I LOVE YOU'S.... DS said I LOVE YOU (in baby babble) so clearly... Hubby stopped on the stairs.... Grinning from ear to ear and I just burst out in tears... I am crying now....
OMG.... He's beautiful.....
I truely beleive the anxious wait and the losses I had getting here were meant to be...

You clearly deserve him! Every day will be a gift. How very wonderful. xo

I have moments of sadness for DD2 and DS first mother as well, I am very happy that she seems to be in a much better place now than a couple of short years ago and I hope with all my heart that she can stay like this and get all her life in order and find proper happiness
