Hello. I'm attempting to get back to research from a totally disconnected work area. There are various things I'm doing towards that, but I have a query about publications.
Back in the day, I have published papers. I can find references to some of these having been cited online.
Can I create an ORCID account and link these to it? Is this the right thing to do to make myself (my published work) visible to other researchers/potential employers? If not, what should I do?
Sorry if it's a dumb question, but I found when discussing with a potential supervisor that it wasn't easy for him to verify my publication list and wondered if ORCID was the way to go as it comes up on applications as a question ("do you have an ORCID account?").
