Have any of you had problems after you were cleared in a grievance?

One of my lecturers was given notice of a disciplinary (not actually brought by me) after two and a half years of trying to deal with an issue they wouldn’t engage with. They immediately took out a grievance against me which was investigated and none of it upheld. Now I’m finding it’s being referred to by my Dean as a cause for concern - even though I was completely exonerated and the staff member was dismissed after their disciplinary was eventually carried out. I always thought you couldn’t do this if none of the grievance was upheld. Any of you had that problem?

I have no direct experience, but I find your Dean's behaviour very odd and unprofessional. Was the lecturer a friend of the Dean? What is exactly is meant by 'a cause for concern'? Are these snide comments every so often or something more formal?

Aargh. Sorry. You probably clicked on your thread thinking there were lots of helpful replies and instead found my contribution. And again. And again.

It’s only been the once but in a formal meeting about future planning. He’s just introduced an anonymous email that can be sent to him from anyone in the Faculty (nearly 400 people) where they cannot be identified. I’m wondering if this may have been behind it because anyone can say whatever they like with no consequences. ....
