Your favourite youtube channels

I watch a lot on youtube, maybe more than TV/streaming tbh. Often in the background whilst I'm getting on with things. What I love about it are the range of creators and topics, so I thought a thread where people share their favourite channels could be fun, and maybe others like me can find some new people to follow and enjoy, or learn about things you never realised you'd find interesting.

So here are some of mine.

TheHoofGP- all about trimming cows' hooves by a very down to earth Scottish trimmer. Something very therapeutic about it.

74 Gear/Mentour Pilot- both airline pilots who give very interesting insights into accidents and other aviation related stuff.

Many A True Nerd- British gaming channel, he's most known for Fallout content which I don't watch, but some of his mini series/one offs are brilliant and he can be very funny, sometimes unintentionally. I recommend his Worms Armageddon election special videos.

ThatChapter- true crime content by an Irish creator who has the right level of humour (he isn't making fun of victims) and a very engaging way of storytelling.

Faces Of The Forgotten- Ron travels to different graveyards in America and tells some very interesting, sometimes sad stories. He also raises money towards headstones for some unmarked graves.

Fascinating Horror- short videos about various disasters, very well put together and interesting. There's other similar channels I follow too.

Dunkin' Ducks- cute duck videos.

Jago Hazzard- short videos about the London Underground.

Team For Never Lean- fitness content, but he explains why certain creators are problematic, promotes wellbeing and talks about mental health.

Waterline Stories- new channel by a diver who explains about diving accidents.

Plumbella- The Sims content, which I haven't actually played in years. I just love her personality and she just seems lovely.

Kittisaurus- cats doing fun challenges.

DFBGuide- guide to Disney, tips, news, food/drink. I have never and have no interest in ever going to Disney world, yet I find listening to her relaxing and like the style of them. It's good background noise.

So there's a few I watch- who would you suggest people check out? Smile

You Suck at Cooking - Basic cooking channel but really funny.
Kingingit - Welsh travel youtubers who are not irritating like most of the other #vanlifewankers.
Leena Norms - Talks about books, sustainability, clothes and fashion but not in a "look at my haul" way, more of a "how to play dress up in real life in a second hand way".
Jay Foreman - Funny nerdy videos about London and transport.
ondo온도 - Korean vlogger who mostly shows the things she likes to cook and eat and general living in Seoul
Ophelia's Soapery - Shows the process of making fancy cold process soaps. They are beautiful.
Cercle - French production team who has music artists to play in stunning locations like on the side of a mountain or inside a museum and they film it with lots of fancy camera and drone shots.

I like Booktube, though there is a lot of Romance/YA on it.
Eric Karl Anderson has a very nice manner for literary fiction
Watching CatSchoolClickerTraining right now, though I doubt my cat will ever learn!
I sometimes like to watch some makeup panning channels, watching these has really helped me to stop overbuying
Sydney Cummings Houdyshell is my favourite workout trainer, she gives clear instructions. I think the craze for silent trainers can lead to bad form and injuries.
Evan Edinger is fun for comparisons between the UK and the US
Triggernometry can be interesting, though right wing leaning

I like That Chapter, Jago Hazzard and Plumbella - so you might like some of my favourites.

Dr Todd Grande, a psychologist with a dry sense of humour who talks about topical people and events, often crimes.

Stephanie Harlowe - she goes VERY deep into true Crime, and her Harloween series of videos each year are more spooky.

Brianah Jewel is really good on fitness fads and fakes, especially the MLM type.

The Welsh Twins - new videos every Sunday at 7.30, and they just crack me up - just two brothers having a laugh, and making me laugh too. The often re-create tiktok hacks, for example - and show how they really turn out.

IIluminaughtii - very interesting channel, covers lots of topics including MLMs, and corporate crime/shadiness, celebrities, history - a really good one for cleaning the house to.

Lazy Masquerade - creepy things, mystery, true crime

Ask a Mortician - fascinating channel about all things death.

Tom pemberton and hoof gp

Yes! Dr Todd Grande is one of my favourites - dry humour and I love his hawaiian shirts.

Cool3DWorld is a totally surreal and very weird and bizarre animation channel, so if you’re a lover of all things strange I can recommend.

How To Cook That by Ann Reardon. She's a food scientist, debunker, excellent baker and many more things.
I can't praise her enough. Go check her out!
