Yes, its gossip, I'm shallow and its the Daily Mail but bearing in mind the thread the other day about footballers and their shenanigans, this struck me as interesting.

Where did MadameC's thread go as well?

OP posts:

Most of the comments on the footie fan forum were MANC FANS DIG UP YOUR DEAD NAN AND SHAG HER AND THEN DIE type rants.

Puts the P&T parking bay threads to shame.

But the general consensus was that AG is a tart.

Agree with Nancy and Herbie completely.

BitOfFun · 24/04/2010 18:17

Baffled by the handrail comment, but I had to laugh at "swallowed more seamen than the Bermuda Triangle"

clam · 25/04/2010 08:23

Looks like the NOTW lost their nerve. Think there's an injunction pending?

BigBadMummy · 25/04/2010 11:27

Well if he got a super-injunction then they won't be able to report a word of it or hint at it or even mention the rumours circulating on the internet.

Interesting how the Daily Mail story linked above had the comments section disabled.

They are obviously being very cautious about what people might say.

clam · 25/04/2010 11:30

What makes me is that IF, as alleged, he has had sex with a minor, regardless of whether the NOTW report it, why aren't the authorities investigating?

BigBadMummy · 25/04/2010 11:47

They may be Clam. But I guess he is innocent until proven guilty.

If the rumour that she is going to be paid off is true and the authorities do not investigate it will be despicable.

The whole thing stinks.

BitOfFun · 25/04/2010 14:04

It could just be a malicious rumour at this point- it's happened before. The gossip circulating on one site yesterday claimed that the super-injunction was useless precisely because the police are investigating. Yet no NOTW story. Quite possibly a load of bollocks.

Alouiseg · 25/04/2010 15:30

Curioser and curioser. Super injunctions have a habit of publicising the case more than letting the papers run with it.

DuelingFanjo · 25/04/2010 15:51

His wife and motehr of his two daughters will of course divorce him if it turns out he had sex with a child?

Alouiseg · 25/04/2010 16:01

But this is the thing, his youngest child is allegedly having a dna test to confirm paternity anyway. Jeremy Kyle anyone??

Bugger, you can't even make scouse jokes on MN, I may have to switch forums for a while!

clam · 25/04/2010 16:10

I read something a while back that about her not going to the World Cup and SG was quoted as having said, "she's got 2 children to look after" Like they were nothing to do with him?

lotster · 25/04/2010 16:20

Nancy, I had dinner with a magazine editor friend last night who said she'd heard 14!!!
I'm hoping she's wrong.

Alouiseg · 25/04/2010 16:31

Ewww. Scary territory for the Gerrards. Lots of stories have been covered up about them.........so i've heard.

lottiejenkins · 27/04/2010 14:35

Daily Star today

clam · 28/04/2010 19:10

Yeah, right!

CwtchyMama · 29/04/2010 08:27

DH works near Liverpool & i remember him coming home a few yrs back & saying that a video clip was doing the rounds alledgedly showing AC enjoying the company of numerous men at the same time, all alledgedly of course.

AllyW · 01/05/2010 14:52

Got this info from another MN thread - google AC name and pancake. Took me to the footie sites where I wasted spend about an hour reading all the above goss and more and having a great chuckle!
