a new thread for us all. Most of us do Farmville, but we play quite a range of other games between us so weather you're into Mafia Wars, Farming, playing Bejewelled, Farkle, Cafes or any other games and you just can't stop - and your OH is bored sick of you saying

"Oh I levelled up" or "ooo I've got ribbon/mastery/whatever" - then this is the place to be. Even if we don't play "your" game we're still happy to hear you talking about how you're doing on it.

OP posts:
simpson · 11/12/2009 16:39

tbh when I have say 50 crops left to harvest for mastery sign I normally plant a few more to make sure

And think you only get the cash not the exp. points iyswim.

sweetkitty - I have been sending you pressies too

Stretch · 11/12/2009 16:41

Add me Medusahead if you want. email is above!

Stretch · 11/12/2009 16:41

Have a bull to adopt too. Don't put it on your farm for a bit and lots of people can get it!!

simpson · 11/12/2009 17:59

got a bull

Level 23 of CL

persephonesnape · 11/12/2009 18:11

off to harvest my very first crop of grapes! LOVE this - it's pointless and silly and delightful!

desertgirl · 11/12/2009 18:17

now that is a handy thing to know (that if you don't put your animals on the farm straight away other people can adopt them too) am making sure I wait now :

have been adding more people from this thread and my red ribbon for neighbours is actually beginning to look achievable - and could buy the 22x22 farm if I had the cash. Have never even had to think about cash before; am having to develop strategies instead of which crop looks nice.

can't believe how addictive something so ridiculous can be!

we3kingbeat23oforientare · 11/12/2009 18:23

persephonesnape - have just added you as a friend....love the lady farmers bit! does that mean you are a beautician in RL??

nymphadora · 11/12/2009 18:37

Ok Who got my started on country world?

ANd What else can I do apart from feed the cow and milk the cow? I wont be up in 4 hours to reap the clover

simpson · 11/12/2009 18:54

nymphadora - that was me

Will gift you a ketchup machine or cheese machine or chicken or rabbit tomorrow if you want.

Cheese machine needs milk from cows and ketchup machine needs tomatoes.

Rabbits eat carrots and chickens eat corn (although you will need to buy coop)

Crops don't die on it so you can leave them overnight iyswim

nymphadora · 11/12/2009 18:58

Oh good so I can plant then!

I only have a cow at the moment so cheese machine or a chicken please

aberita · 11/12/2009 19:00

I'd never have managed to get my Local Celebrity blue ribbon without my MN neighbours - or the red one for that matter. All those neighbours come in very handy for fertilising, gifts etc too . I'm going for the Good Samaritan blue ribbon now but still have over 1,500 friends to help so suspect it might take a while. Only 15 more trees to harvest before I get the red ribbon though, so might even manage that today. Can't wait until I've got the blue ribbon for the trees and animals and can sell some of them; they're taking over my farm!

desertgirl - I've got a list of the most profitable seeds so usually stick to the top four or five that I can plant at my level, although I do think a bit more variety would be nice at times! Was quite excited when I could plant peas (level 31, I think) as not only are they about the most profitable crop, you also get 3 xp for planting them. And yes, it is ridiculously addictive isn't it?

Awassailinglookingforanswers · 11/12/2009 19:06

nymph - you can add me as a Country Life neighbour

OP posts:
simpson · 11/12/2009 19:12

SantaWears2shoes · 11/12/2009 19:12

simpson · 11/12/2009 19:14

Initial RS picture of me in red top

nymphadora · 11/12/2009 19:19

ALFA- Are you on Simpsons friend list?

nymphadora · 11/12/2009 19:22

Cool virtual cheese!

desertgirl · 11/12/2009 19:26

if anyone adds me as a CL neighbour I will send gifts!! (but possibly not tonight it is getting a bit late here). nymph am not sure who you are, but we seem to have some friends in common; initials are SLN (two surnames, don't use them both together, btw)

simpson thank you for the cheese machine if I can find a couple more neighbours I can expand and have room for more things....!

nymphadora · 11/12/2009 19:27

NA (Back of head!)

MedusaHead · 11/12/2009 19:42

Medusa - you're welcome to add me as well. Initials are BZ and I'm on quite a few people's lists here.

MedusaHead · 11/12/2009 20:07

Thanks aberita I have sent you a friend request, (at least I hope it's you and not some random person who's not going to have a clue who I am)!

SaintNickKnack · 11/12/2009 20:20

I'm in the same position Medusa was in, only about 5 or 6 neighbours...so I may add everyone on here over the weekend if I get time I think I'm only at level 13 0r 14, have only become addicted very recently!

Do I need to add you all as facebook friends, or just as farmville neighbours?

aberita · 11/12/2009 20:44

Yes, you got the right person Medusa - I've just accepted your friend request

SaintNickKnack - you need to add people as friends first, then you can add them as neighbours.
