a new thread for us all. Most of us do Farmville, but we play quite a range of other games between us so weather you're into Mafia Wars, Farming, playing Bejewelled, Farkle, Cafes or any other games and you just can't stop - and your OH is bored sick of you saying

"Oh I levelled up" or "ooo I've got ribbon/mastery/whatever" - then this is the place to be. Even if we don't play "your" game we're still happy to hear you talking about how you're doing on it.

Hi, on CL I'm about to start making ketchup. Is it worth it?

Awassailinglookingforanswers · 30/12/2009 17:53

ermm somewhere on this thread you'll find the profits for all (most?) of the CL stuff

OP posts:
Jux · 30/12/2009 18:00

somewhere being the operative word

Awassailinglookingforanswers · 30/12/2009 18:01

if you search using the "find" on your browser for ketchup I'm sure you'll come across it sooner or later

Jux · 30/12/2009 18:05

persephonesnape · 30/12/2009 18:14

QUESTION!!! do calves actually ever do anything other than stand there with big-cow eyes (...) and be brushed? they're starting to irritate me!

Awassailinglookingforanswers · 30/12/2009 18:25

I don't know - I only put my first calf on my farm yesterday - they'r ever cute when you pet them though aren't they

OP posts:
nymphadora · 30/12/2009 18:44

I hoped they would grow...

lostinwales · 30/12/2009 19:06

Calves don't appear to do anything apart from take up space, but how else am I supposed to get 3000 animals?

Anyone on their zoo want to do some animal adoption tennis, I've just put two onto the news feed?

Awassailinglookingforanswers · 30/12/2009 19:07

I don't think so........will tell you later - mine is on 73% lol.

Oh I'm getting frustrated on Zoo World now.....I've so far managed to breed one medium difficult animal, 3 more to go, will get another 2 tomorrow, and then the last one on Friday - but it's TOO LONG. I can't buy any new species - as they're all still locked until I've done my breeding.

I'm now gradually working up from the cheapest animals to the most expensive getting 20 of each of them.....in between whiles I'm teaching my swift and eagle their tricks (btw the first swift trick did count for the achievement on that other level) and have 7 out of a posible 12 so far done......

Am thinking of getting rid of my calf as it has not grown

What do the fireworks do in FV?? Anything??

only 1330 blueberries needed

Awassailinglookingforanswers · 30/12/2009 19:10

you don't need 3000 animals - you just need to harvest 3000, I recommend as many cow sheds as you're allowed (think it's 4??) and a chicken coop - already that's 100 animals that you can harvest once a day, then I'd have a few other 1 day animals dotted around (not too many as they slow the game down), don't keep any of the 2/3/4 day ones unless you want them

OP posts:
Awassailinglookingforanswers · 30/12/2009 19:12

you can put the firework on your farm and set it off - they're pretty tbh - and they don't sell for much either.

If people have stopped sending presents (I hope not LOL), please can I have date or olive trees, or a couple of cows for my cow shed - ty.

OP posts:
simpson · 30/12/2009 19:56

I can't waiat to get rid of my trees.

They take up too much room and you can't see my mastery signs.

Only another 1700 to harvest...so no time soon

Jux · 30/12/2009 20:00

Butterpie, I think I've just sent you a friend request without saying who I am. My profile pic is big shoes, my inits jr. (Please say yes please say please say yes!)

Awassailinglookingforanswers · 30/12/2009 20:25

simpson - you should switch over to cherry trees (or any other 2 day ones) - then you'll get through them quicker

OP posts:
simpson · 30/12/2009 21:00

was kind of thinking of the one day ones ie the maple trees but they are too bright and big

Maybe cherries are the way to go

Awassailinglookingforanswers · 30/12/2009 21:01

maple trees are 2 days, that's the shortest trees.

Don't recommend maple trees - they're too bright and really do hide your mastery signs

OP posts:
simpson · 30/12/2009 21:13

exactly

Am totally with you on the hiding mastery sign thing

Think all mine are going to have to go tbh.

simpson · 30/12/2009 21:14

Are apple trees 2 days too??

As they are quite small and not bright iyswim

Awassailinglookingforanswers · 30/12/2009 21:30

damn it I've worked hard my mastery signs - I'm not going to have them out"shone" by my trees lol.

Apple are 3 day -

OP posts:
simpson · 30/12/2009 21:34

exactly

If anyone visits my farm I want them on full veiw

Just wish the mastery signs could be rotated to face the other way iyswim

Awassailinglookingforanswers · 30/12/2009 21:39

yes I wish they could be rotated too - they're not going to look so nice once I've filled up the current side with them as they'll be facing in silly direction on the other side

ooooooo do you want a green calf??

just about to post one.......
