a new thread for us all. Most of us do Farmville, but we play quite a range of other games between us so weather you're into Mafia Wars, Farming, playing Bejewelled, Farkle, Cafes or any other games and you just can't stop - and your OH is bored sick of you saying

"Oh I levelled up" or "ooo I've got ribbon/mastery/whatever" - then this is the place to be. Even if we don't play "your" game we're still happy to hear you talking about how you're doing on it.

I can't get into CL at all! For two days I just get the 100% page, and then nothing.

I can send gifts, though, so will go send some machinery now.

woohoo, a new toy; CL has now got a weaving machine (I was close with my knitting machine then). A wool sweater sells for 95, not sure about the angora one, didn't have any carrots.

I seem to have lost my info feed on FV.com, last thing I can see anyone doing is over a day ago. and for some reason I don't see those bits on FB any more (though I am sure I didn't cancel them) - how do I get them back??

desertgirl - You could always check to see if you've hidden FV by mistake: click on Edit options at the bottom right of the page, then Applications, then add FV to your news feed if it does happen to be there. Otherwise, I'm not too sure...

Pah!!

Now I am in a quandary. I am one day's growing away from having enough money to expand and I want more land!!

But I want a shiny new toy weaving machine now, now, now!!!!

I'm going to have to wait, I suppose. Do the grown up thing and put off instant gratification for the sake of the long term gain.

I shall have to get my skates on. I can't have that.

You say you have run out of cash, is that before or after you planted everything up first? It would be really sad if you had to eke out a living based on clover for the next few days.

well I know if I have "run out of cash" after buying an expansion - I've already planted up.

Actually I always plant up before buying the expansion anyhow

No my ranch has stuff all planted but have not filled up all the new space from expansion iyswim as don't have enough ££ to plow it then plant more.

Also undecided what to do with space anyway, use it for more trees, machines or crops

Decisions, decisions!!!

Me too ALFA - but I have learnt from bitter experience that is the best way. Was hoping Simpson's competitive streak got the better of her and she had been rash. Sadly, the woman has a good farming head on her shoulders. She will go far damn her.

Ah well,I am in it for the journey not the glory. Will just have to keep on plodding onwards and upwards.

Could someone please tell me how to unblock CL and CW from my newsfeed? I blocked them way back whenever I wasn't planning on playing them and now can't rem how to see them again? Afraid I am missing out on lots of goodies!! Thanks a mill...

mind you - that bread is good - I had 452 coins on Monday - I now 241,000!!

Thanks aberita...it was after I read that message that I got thinking about it. Tried what you suggested but it didn't give me an option to show the news feed...just to allow one line messages on my own wall. Will keep playing around with it...it's been a long day so I might be missing something really obvious!!

FOund it!! It's actually up on the top menu...settings, account settings, notifications. CW and CL both unchecked. All chuffed at my amazing IT know-how

dingdong3 you need to make sure that you are on 'live news feed' then click on 'edit options' at the bottom.

It took me ages to work this out!

I didn't realise that edit options only appeared on live news feed either - glad you got it sorted out in the end anyway!

aberita if its a news feed I think you can block/unblock people but if it's live feed then you can block/unblock apps.

When I started playing Country Life I lost my Farmville bits from the newsfeed. I had already checked the options at the top of the page and had farmville checked to receive notifications there and couldn't figure out why it wasn't showing.

I had to go to the forum faq's to find that out. That's addiction dedication for you

No, I just checked and got that the wrong way round, and it's not even wine o'clock yet

If you're on live feed and click on edit options then you can hide/show posts from particular friends.

If you're on news feed and click on edit options then you can hide/unhide posts from particular apps.

oh FFS - harvest, ploughed and replanted strawberries at 8pm -should have been just 2 more harvest (maybe 3?) to get my mastery.

Just logged in to sell my gifts that I've just collected and my strawberries are only half harvested GRRRRRRRR

Frustrating!! Still not sorted - thought I was, but I'm not. Medusa, I don't get anything different whether I'm in Live Feed or News feed...all I get in either view, when I go in to edit my applications is an option to edit settings, which just asks me to allow the one liners on my own profile..nothing about my news feed. Does that make sense???
So, on my newsfeed, I'm only getting messages about everyone's FV stuff - not seeing anything about CL or CW...

Meanwhile, DH just spied me doing CL...he is NOT impressed! He's watching rugby so should just be happy that I'm sitting beside him and not in the other room watching Love Actually...

mine is just as frustrating dingdong. I've triple checked all my settings. I get the odd message from CW but nothing from FV. The only way to get bonus/freebies from neighbours is to visit each facebook wall individually, which is way too time consuming and not worth the effort
