she didn't actually dance did she - just strutted, kicked her legs, swished her hair? i know she was "singing" too... but i classify myself as a crap dancer and think even i could have pulled that off.

i thought it was her voice, but it was never live. actually i was confused by the whole thing on that score. it was just a video, wasn't it?

Thought it was fine but less charity, more a CV for Katie Holmes.

The cynic in me wonders whether a Hollywood career is a fair quid pro quo for marriage to TC/producing a bio child to scotch rumours.

well it didn't help that her performance was on a dance competition show with some of the most amazing new dancers in the usa.

she sang it in a recording studio, had it tweaked and tuned, then swished and mimed her way through through the performance, looks like more than one take unless lots of cameras filming one performance. If she wants a part in Chicago she'll have to sing live. She should take a few lessons from our very own and wonderful Ruthie Henshall....

yes, it seemed to me to be a bit of a con to have her wheech off her hat and bow to an appreciative audience when it was clearly imo not live.

plus, and i know this marks me out as a DM reader of old, there have been pics of her in dance tights for MONTHS, so while she might be a novice dancer, learning this routine has been her full time job for the last while.
