Has anyone here got experience with going to rugby (union) games?

I recently have started watching rugby videos online seeing how intense the games are and have considered going to a Gallagher premiership match.

Are they fun? Or is international matches at Twickenham more fun?

We go to a match most weekends and Twickenham as much as possible for internationals.

Am a Bath AND Tigers supporter, both their stadiums and matches are amazing.

Unfortunately this weekend we were at the Shed, that wasn't our finest performance.

Didn't go to Mattioli this weekend as DS playing at local level. Goddammit that would've been an amazing watch.

Although an absolute England fan, we went to Principality to watch Wales Scotland in February. What an absolute incredible stadium and atmosphere, one of the best matches I've ever seen.

Give it a go, you'll love it. Much better environment than football matches.

It’s obviously the best one, shame about the actual rugby!

Come join us in Cardiff, OP! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

I've been their 4 times to watch SA Vs Wales and it is honestly a great day out. Pedestrianised around the stadium with people spilling out of bars, but in a good way, everyone is friendly and I've never seen a fight. Taken my kids and my daughter is asking when we can go again.

if you’ve got a lower league amateur team locally, give them a go too - the skills might not be as dazzling as the professionals but it’s sometimes easier to follow as everything happens much more slowly! DH & I support our local team, and also Glasgow Warriors; after forty odd years of watching rugby, I still rely on Andrew Cotter to explain the intricacies of what’s going on at Murrayfield, but in the stands at home I can pretty much work it out for myself…
