I joined Mumsnet years ago when my children were going to boarding school but I have since found out that Mumsnet is full of very judgmental people

LTB, getting your ducks in a row, No is a complete answer, it's an invitation not a summons, if your throwing a party you need to provide a good amount of food, don't be a CF, 1 glass of wine means your an alcoholic and people asking if 5k a month after bills and main expenses is enough to live on 😅

This made me laugh so much! It's about people pretending to be something they're not because their life sucks and they want to be mean to people online who they assume have the life they want. But, everyone is posing and it's a shit show.

Don't take it too seriously. Don't get emotionally invested. Don't believe everything (anything) you read and be prepared for low effort, snarky responses from peri/menopausal women who were throttled by mean girls in school and seek their vengeance here.

Hope that helps.

Well I am horrified to learn that I had thought it was unchartered territory. Of course it’s uncharted. Thanks OP.

You get out what you put in. Ask a silly question get a silly answer.
