How on earth do you get Bayeux Tapestry tickets?

I'm looking for tips really for the next round. I went on to the British Museum website this morning at about 9.30 and the queueing started at 10. There was roughly 110,000 people in front of me. There was about 85,000 in front of me when the tickets sold out. What can I do next time? How did anybody else get tickets??

Bayeux and the surrounding area is well worth a visit. The cathedral is beautiful, locally you have the Normandy beaches and Caen, not too far away is Deauville.
