Where do you recommend going and when?

Currently I've just been seeing videos of the Shenzhen skyline and thinking to myself "wow this looks so cool".

I really want to go see China.

Would I go again - no - would I recommend it - no.
I have been to Tokyo for a long week end on the back of an Australian trip and loved it but wouldn't look forward to a longer trip after watching Palin and Portillo TV shows. They really have put me off.

I wouldn't go again. I'd go back to Vietnam in a heartbeat. Japan too.

I loved Beijing and the Great Wall (though the Wall was very busy). Friend raves about Shanghai and how modern it is.
