Wanting a more peaceful life….

If you had to name one or two things that you have done to make your life more peaceful/calmer - what were they?

Another vote for divorce.
ExH wasn't especially messy (and did somewhat pull his weight domestically) but only having to do housework/laundry for DD and myself, is so much easier. Also, never having to worry about what kind of mood he'll be in after work or at the weekend. Not worrying about him going on nights out, and will he remember his key? If he remembers to take it, will he lose it and wake us up banging on the front door. Being able to sing, dance and be silly with our DD, without him moaning that he can't hear the telly.
My life is now the most peaceful it's ever been.
