If I love Chappell Roan, who else might I like?

I don't really listen to the radio etc so am very much stuck in the 90s and early Naughtiest with music. But I have recently discovered and love Chappell Roan.

Any suggestions for anyone similar?

I love CR and also listen to a lot of Last Dinner Party, Wet Leg and Wolf Alice.

This is brilliant, thank you! I'd given up on replies so hadn't checked back and I'm very excited to see so many now.

I will get listening and report back.

In addition to those already mentioned:
MUNA
Kacey Musgraves

KevinsSignatureShortdead · 05/10/2026 20:58

Definitely Haute and Freddy.

I love CR and also enjoy listening to Grimes, New Constellations and Class Actress.

BurntBroccoli · 05/10/2026 21:04

I would suggest Goldfrapp.

Windthebloodybobbinup · 05/10/2026 21:08

CMAT and just listened to a great song by Phoebe Bridger?

Catatatatat · 05/10/2026 21:10

Love these suggestions.

I’ve been into Olivia Dean, Lola Young, Stella Lefty, Ella Langley & Sienna Spiro recently.

DrWhosJazzyScarf · 05/10/2026 21:12

St Vincent, for sure. And perhaps Sky Ferreira and New Young Pony Club (if you’re up for a bit of noughties nostalgia).

I'm really enjoying Cmat, have been listening on my commute this week. Never heard of her before and wouldn't have thought it would be my thing but it's just what I was looking for.

Do you say it see mat?

Also, for the posters who said try Olivia Rodriguez again, any specific songs?

Agree with loads of these. I also like Goldie Boutier, The Anchoress, The Staves, Joy Crooks, Jungle and L'impertrice.

She's great! and yes, it's pronounced 'see mat'.

I love Vampire by Olivia Rodrigo

AndresyFiorella · 09/10/2026 19:19

My favourite Olivia Rodrigo songs are Good for You(for a mad dance around the kitchen) The Cure for a more serious one and Drop Dead for another fun one. They're all pretty similar in the way they build but they make me happy!

ThreeArmBandit · 11/10/2026 18:24

Thanks, I have made a mini OR playlist and will try tomorrow!
