On the kitchen table

Right outside my bedroom door as he’s not allowed in! Or if he gets in, right by my bed on the floor.
Or occasionally the shower, especially when the weather was really hot!

OttersOnAPlane · 27/09/2026 15:24

On roosting bars.

mumumental · 27/09/2026 15:36

On “his” chair, mainly. . No cats in the bedroom. It would make me wheeze.

Iloveeverycat · 27/09/2026 15:37

The bathroom floor

Rather not.

I've got a dachshund. I'd be snug in my bed, where he demands to be every night.

doodleygirl · 27/09/2026 15:42

I would start the night on the humans bed, move downstairs to the couch, have an hour or so in my open crate, then upstairs to my bed in the humans room. At the fire sign of someone waking up I would settle myself back on the bed. I like to travel😂

On a perch

Blueuggboots · 27/09/2026 15:42

In between my own legs?!! 🤣

Tarkan · 27/09/2026 15:52

I’d start on a large soft bed on the living room floor then I’d go to the sofa. I’d then take myself off to a bed in my DC’s room for a bit then one in my bedroom in the corner. If not everyone is in bed after I’ve been lying down a while I’ll go find where they are and give them evil looks while I sigh at them as I have obviously decided my bedtime should be everyone’s bedtime.

Once everyone else is in bed and asleep I would then sneak up onto the bottom corner of my bed but as soon as anyone notices me, I’ll huff loudly and jump off and then noisily lie down on the floor beside the bed (making sure to bump my body into the side of the bed so whoever is in it can feel my annoyance at getting off the big comfy bed). I’ll then repeat the last few stages a few times before falling asleep deeply beside the bed and then getting a fright when whoever is in the bed moves their feet towards me to get up in the morning.

DreamingOfGeneHunt · 27/09/2026 15:57

On my bed, behind my own knees.

Bonjovispjs · 27/09/2026 16:08

Under the bed.

Crunchymum · 27/09/2026 16:11

Under the bed or in a basket on top of a chest of drawers.

Both my cats have their own little spots, and like to be out of the way. Until they want something (IE food) and then I can't move for furry creatures underfoot.

WhatDoRacoonsSay · 27/09/2026 16:12

In my bed, on my own head.

TheoreticallyAdult · 27/09/2026 16:16

On my bed. Either mostly on my or DH’s pillows or wedged between the two lengthways making sure I’m covered by the duvet.

Bogstandardname · 27/09/2026 16:17

In my bed, under duvet with my head on my pillow (snuffling and snoring).

Ha, when it was super hot in the summer, cat 2 slept in the bath, and cat 1 slept on the top of the toilet cistern. Nice and cool with an open window, couldn't judge them, but the eyes were a bit freaky when I went for a middle of the night wee using only my ipad as a light in order to not fully wake up.

TheBayHorse · 27/09/2026 17:55

In my bed or on my sofa where we are both currently lying.

MyManinCaracas · 27/09/2026 18:00

I’d start on the garden bench and then at midnight run upstairs at break neck speed and wrap myself around my head.

AvengingAngle · 27/09/2026 18:07

On top of my bed or on the sofa. Boring answer!
