Thick/cushioned socks that are NOT especially warm?

Does such a thing exist? I have to wear wellies at work. I hate the feel of wellies with ordinary thin socks so I wear these thick socks called Heat Holders. They cushion my feet nicely but at the end of the day my feet and the socks are very sweaty and as a result, stinky (I also only have one pair of these socks so it’s getting very annoying having to give them a quick hand wash at home every day!). I work in a pretty warm and very humid environment so you can imagine how much my wellies smell after 8hrs of my feet sweating away in them 😬

I work in the Kill and Evisceration department of my local chicken factory.

Why do I need a new job? You know not all jobs are nice and clean, right?

I missed ‘insoles’ and was wondering how on earth he walks around with charcoal in his boots 😂 I’ve never heard of charcoal insoles!

☺️. I think they're by Scholl and do pretty well at cutting down on the man foot pong (bikers boots and Docs).

I happened to be in Sports Direct earlier and had a look at socks, I found some Karrimor Merino blend socks, midweight and are Coolmax. Hopefully they’ll do the trick! If they’re good I’ll go back and get a couple more pairs. If not, I’ll start looking up all of these recommendations (except the one about getting a new job 🙄)
