Where can I buy pretty art prints for my daughter’s bedroom

I really want to put a gallery wall of art prints in my 2 year old DD’s bedroom.
I’m looking for inspiration or suggestions because Etsy keeps giving me AI rubbish.

I’d like to support independent artists and businesses if possible.

I’m currently looking at pieces from:
Wildflower illustrations
Felicity Buchanan
but I’d love some more ideas.

She loves pink and her favourite things are:

• Animals
• Flowers and fruits
• Fairytales (especially castles, fairies and dragons)

I prefer pastel colours and illustrations rather than text.

Does anyone have any suggestions of artists or shops where I can find lovely prints (ideally under £100 per picture but some flexibility).

Can't help with finding original artwork, so if you can't find anything you like, have a look in The Range. They sell loads of pictures and frames in there.

Not on the high Street might have nice stuff

ArtFinder has original prints from artists, but may be expensive. I know people who sell on there.

a budget cheat is to buy a calendar of nice pictures and put the best 3 or 4 into IKEA frames. then you get a set that makes a nice grouping on the wall.

@MommaMia26 possibly try PSTR Studio. There’s a particular artist I follow and she started working with them to sell affordable prints of her paintings

@parietal the calendar tip is great, I’ve already got some postcards too. It’s mostly finding artists that I like. There is so much AI slop everywhere (Etsy used to be great for stuff like this, but now everything seems to either be AI produced or Temu resale and it’s made shopping a lot less fun)

Yes! I hadn’t thought of that, but she’d also love some of the vintage Bramley Hedge pictures too

Etsy has some pretty Beatrix Potter framed prints.

I love the artwork in the Range we have a lovely tiger cub wearing a flower crown picture that my husband bought me. Tbf alot of out artwork is homemade or family photos.

@JingsMahBucket I think about 8-12 (but I might include some of her own ‘art’ too).

We have loads of books with really lovely illustrations but I’ve struggled to find actual art from independent artists (I’m sure it must be out there, I’ve got some lovely stuff from Etsy and that I found through Instagram/Google a few years ago. But now everything I find just seems to be either AI or Temu resellers, and even if it was nice it’s not really an industry I want to support at the expense of proper artists).

@AluckyEllie the princess one is lovely. I like that she looks really brave and strong, not just pretty.

I also have the long live girlhood (and boyhood one) which I really like.

I had a tiny (maybe 2” by 3”) copy of The Fairy Way when I was very young that my mum had bought when she was about 7. I loved it. Sadly, I lost it at some point. But now I know what it’s called, and who painted it, I can buy another copy. Thanks.

Have a look on displate. You can get nice pictures of nearly anything you can think of. I’ve got them all over the house.

@MommaMia26 I was looking in our local villages magazine just now and there's a district art society holding an exhibition and sale of work. Perhaps there may be art groups near you which do similar.

Various museums and galleries do 'prints to order' of works in their collections - the National Gallery of Scotland do, and you can select size & type of paper so can be fairly cheap. Huge amount of choice
