What language would you like to learn and why?

I did Spanish to GCSE and French to A level, can also speak Greek to a reasonable level.

I've never learnt German, I love hearing it spoken (big German community where I live and English is used as the common language) but it's unlike any other language I know. So different from the shouty Mediterranean languages, it always sounds clear and concise (I'm happy to be corrected on this though 😅).

French - because I like how it sounds, I enjoy visiting France and would like to be able to converse to at least a basic degree with locals.

Welsh - I am Welsh but not from an area that Welsh has been hugely spoken for a long time. There’s a been an upsurge in Welsh speakers in the last 20 years or so. Both due to people moving here from more Welsh speaking areas and because people are having their children educated in Welsh regardless of whether they have the language themselves. I understand a lot more of the language to hear than I can speak or write, so would like to improve.
