Not been well. I have thyroid issue so went for tests. Tests ok but need .ore explanation on results. Started feeling better but last night in the early hours of the morning, I suddenly got aches and pains in arms legs and I didn't know quite what was going on.. it's just a dull 8, but it's in the hands as well and wrists. So I don't know whether that's COVID or is like flu-like symptoms, but I don't have a Coles, and I have a doctor's appointment to discuss my test results next week so I will see how I get on and mention this when I go because something Me have come up in the test results that they need to explain.. have taken some painkillers, so hopefully that'll ease it up so I can get on with my day.

I would not wait. If it's an i on the scale that's not nice to wait a week for.

Its just occurred yo me that it might be worth doing a covid test. Do people bother with covjd tests anymore? I feel the same as I did when I had covid 3 years ago. Dull aches. I did not lose any taste or smell and still have taste and smell now. Have had a sore throat and headache if I dont bother doing the test I will always wonder. I had it before mildly for 2 weeks

Yes people still do Covid tests. Not everyone - but a number do. Especially if you don’t want to risk exposing others to it if you do have it.

Do you have your thyroid results, with the reference ranges?

LittleMissClutter · 19/08/2026 18:32

I have an underactive thyroid and when my thyroxine is due an increase, the only symptoms I really get is pains in my arms and hands.

Well I will find out what's causing my pains when I speak to the doctor. Ive had underactive thyroid for 25 years and over the years my dose has been changed but ive never had aching body before.
