What flooring do you have in your bathroom? Is tile then only real option?

I've had 'vinyl roll' in the past and I'd like something nicer really. It was rather wet and mouldy when we pulled it up too.

I can't imagine laminate doing well inna bathroom.

Is tile the only way?

We have wood effect floorboard style tiles in the main bathroom they are textured and look great, not slippery and v easy to keep clean as they aren’t polished or shiny. We will be doing the ensuite soon no idea what we will put down there yet

Would never have tiles again, unless you have a solid concrete floor, and even then I wouldn’t. We have peel and stick vinyl squares and they’re fab. Been down for 15 years.

I saw a tiktok recently where a woman was singing the praises of micro-cement. Her entire bathroom was made from micro-cement, zero grouting anywhere.
