Have I been lucky with Vinted, or do some misunderstand it?

I’m a relatively new user of vinted; but so far I’ve been pretty impressed with it. I’ve only sold and bought things at pretty low cost, but it’s encouraged me to declutter and I’ve not bought any ‘new’ clothes for months. However lots of people complain about it. Have I just been lucky or are people not understanding what vinted really is?

Someone took the time to message me recently to tell me what a revolting person I was for selling something I happen to have two of at a profit. It was sold out and that was the going rate for it. Apparently Vinted is not for profit making. Don’t buy it then… plenty of people willing to!

(NB I am not that person who buys loads with the intention of selling them on Vinted - I just happened to have two and realised they were in demand.)

Once you truly know how to use it there’s treasure to be found.

I’ve had mostly good experiences as a buyer and seller but rarely buy or sell anything of value just in case. The best deal I got was a body protector for horse riding that was new. It should have cost £150 but I got it for £50. Was very impressed with that one! I rarely buy anything for more than £10 and it’s usually bundles of sportswear for the kids.
