Reasonable prices for selling baby clothes at a children's market?

I'm hoping to do a table top sale at the little children's market soon. What prices would seem reasonable? I'll be taking 0-9month old clothes, there's a lot of them and I'd rather take lower prices and make sure they sell.
What seems reasonable please?
I was thinking: 3 vests for £2
3 sleep suits for £5
Sleeping bags £3 each
Cardigans £3
I also have some brand new things
Thanks!!

I’d have said those prices were way too much for second hand stuff, unless it’s designer. 10p a vest would be more like it if high street stuff, 20p for a sleep suit. People sell large bundles of baby stuff for a few quid online.

It will vary massively depending on if they are Primark or JoJo Maman Bebe or designer

That's way too much unless they are new/immaculate and/or expensive brands. I'd say £1 for 3 vests, £2 for 3 sleepsuits.

Ok thanks 👍 glad I checked because I don't want to come back with a boot full of unsold stuff 😅

I shop regularly at ours. I would say 3 vests for a pound. £1 each for sleepsuits if they are in good condition. £1-2 pounds for cardigans again depending on brand/condition.
I am much more likely to buy things if they are in outfits rather than separates.

I personally wouldn't pay that for generic supermarket stuff

WhatsHerNameThingummy · 07/08/2026 20:42

I’d pay that if the quality/brand was good and items in good condition and not stained or too bobbly.

If you have individual branded items of very high quality eg Frugi or Ralph Lauren you can get a lot more.

Same for brand new with tags - I’d aim for about half the shop price

I’ve sold bundles of baby clothes in the past. I found small amounts or individual items didn’t go but if I bundle of say 20, 30 or 40 items together the same size stuff together and said £10 per bundle then I sold them no problem

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 07/08/2026 20:56

When I used to sell at these type of sales, guidelines were, not to forget how much equivalent supermarket clothes cost.

Boden, Jojo etc would sell for about half what the equivalent would cost in a supermarket.

Supermarket clothes in fantastic condition would sell in bundles for up to 50p/vest-£1/sleepsuit. If they were at all worn, they didn’t sell.

Thanks. Tickets are £20 per table so I feel like I'll need to sell quite a bit just to cover that.
I thought it would be easier to shift a lot in one go but I might look at vinted instead

Clothes alone probably aren’t going to cut it, but once you start having big ticket items - high chairs, balance bike, pram etc, they are a good add on. Or Vinted…
