Siam Park in Tenerife with a teenager: worth it without fast passes?

Going to Tenerife. Myself and my 14 year old son. Swithering over Siam Park visit. Sounds like a day spent queuing for a few rides. But the cost of the no queue pass is extortionate and he’s not an adrenaline chasing teen. So don’t know whether to go with standard ticket, spend a fortune on passes, or just avoid altogether. When it’s just the two of us it could be a miss? Just looking for opinions. 🤔

My DS at that age loved Siam Park but he’s an adrenaline junker. The faster the ride the better. If you’re going in the summer I wouldn’t bother without fast passes-you’ll be queuing all day. No fun at all!

God, I absolutely hated that place! During school holidays they let far too many people in. You end up just shuffling along the paths with thousands of others. If you have a problem with crowds of people you'll hate it, is it really worth it if your son isn't even that bothered by the bigger slides? I stayed looking after our stuff (no lockers left) while DH and hte kids went off. Think they only managed about 4 slides. Not worth it, especially if you're very prone to sunburn cos you're very pale.

But of course i'ts in their interest to overfill it. More entrance fee income, PLUS all the fast passes bought because that's the only way to get on the slides to make it worth going.

My 2 dds went in the evening & had a wonderful time, they got to do all the slides they wanted & wasn't busy

We were in Tenerife last summer and dp and ds1 did “Siam Nights” in the late evening.
it was much quieter than during the day, and there were laser shows and music, they had a great time. If that’s happening again this year, maybe it would be a better option for you? Less chance of sunburn too!

JustAnotherWhinger · 09/08/2026 15:54

When are you going? That really will dictate how much use the fast track passes will be

Worsethingshappenatsea · 09/08/2026 16:01

We did the evening session too and hardly queued for anything was great definitely recommend that option

angelcake20 · 09/08/2026 17:06

When are you going? It’s been fine when we’ve been April/May but it might be different in the summer.

Springbuck · 09/08/2026 20:09

I would definitely recommend going for the evening sessions it’s much quieter.
But if you do go during the day I wouldn’t bother with fast passes. Try to get there early enough to get a decent sunbed. I’m not really keen on the rides. You can get sunbeds on little islands around the lazy river. There are only a couple there so I can enjoy my book in peace. Dh prefers a bed on the pretend beach so him and the dc can make the most of the tsunami waves.
The only reason we have visited Tenerife at least a dozen times is my children’s obsession with Siam Parc.

My 16 year old and his mate did the siam night as well as a day time visit, and the evening one was much quieter and they could get on loads of rides, minimal queues and much more fun due to the lights etc. The queues in the day time were pretty long, around an hour without a fast pass and this was late June.

rookiemere · 09/08/2026 20:39

If you get there for gates opening, you can buy fast passes on the day for 30 euros. They only have a limited number though and they sell out early.

maudelovesharold · 09/08/2026 20:45

Siam Nights are apparently on till 29th August.
