Beeswax Bread Bags. How to clean mould off?

I bought a couple of these for storing home made bread, and they've been really good.

Unfortunately, we were away for a few days last week, and forgot to take the last of the loaf out of the bag. Inevitably it went mouldy, and I've not been able to remove the mould stain from the inside of the bag.

I've only tried sponging it, as I'm wary about using any detergents on it.

Any ideas how to clean it off?

We’ve got these as my DH makes sourdough. Apparently you can wash them in a mild detergent and leave to dry.

Also make sure the water is only lukewarm.

Could someone post a link to these please, looking for some for large homemade sourdough loaves. TIA

I bought some from the Urban Green Company when I saw the lady at a local farmers market. They do large bread bags which I use frequently.

Thank you

Thank you. I will give it a go tomorrow.

I have a spare, so all will not be lost if I do ruin it, but obviously I want to rescue it if I can :)
