Center Parcs or lodge break with a nearly 2 year old?

As the title says! Planning to go in November, can’t choose between a lodge break or Center Parcs.

Lodge:
Peak district
Spotless accommodation
Private hot tub and sauna which we could use on an evening
Quite remote but plenty to do locally, but would have to drive 20 mins or so to each

Center Parcs:
No stresses about driving and no fuel cost
Free swimming (she loves slides!)
Maybe a safer bet weather wise?
Accommodation sometimes feels a bit dated

Both pricing identical atm so really can’t choose!

Center Parcs. Accommodation isn’t as nice as lodge type places usually but what they offer for kids just made holidays so easy. We are doing a lodge this weekend and I’m having major regrets for not just booking CP.

Also CP may have the Christmas lights / trail up in November which are really lovely.

I would do CP.
I love that (for the most part) there are no vehicles around so you can walk around in safety. And if she loves swimming then you're sorted! But they also have other activities little ones would like.
And it's just so nice not having to drive to go do stuff.
I would recommend paying the extra to choose your own cabin though, so you can make sure you're walking distance to swimming and shops etc

Thank you! Not considered the Christmas lights

Center parcs is ideal for this age. Loads to do without having to get into the car, can always pop back to the lodge for nap/mealtimes etc. I think the restaurants also do delivery so you can have a nice dinner in the lodge without having to cook once the little one is in bed!

I was underwhelmed with center parcs on our first visit, with 20 month old. Only pool and playgrounds for her, none of the activities were worth paying for and they're so expensive. I would do a lodge and just find a local pool.
