Go back to the GP and ask them for a referral to the dermatology department of your local hospital?

Duct tape is brilliant & cheap. Just put it on like a plaster & replace every day until it clears up. I once had a verruca for about 15 years & tried everything to get rid of it. Duct tape was the only thing that worked.

Did they say why they were unable to treat it?

NHS no longer remove these if they are harmless or maybe if they catch on clothes. I have loads of these.

Podiatrists remove verrucas routinely. Try contacting a podiatrist?

You pay.

They used to freeze them off, but it's a service no longer routinely available from GP's. there are many private clinics that will treat them. It may just disappear by itself.

H-Warts solution swiftly dealt with my sons' stubborn verrucas

Private dermatologist will whip it off for you.

Where is it? DH had a wart on his face and his GP wouldnt touch it. He tried various things and two years later it was still there. He had to go private and cost over £600 it was worth it.
