Hi, any recommendations for suppliers of children's swimming goggles. DD is 9 and needds then. Went to our optician who quoted ridiculous price so looked online bit struggling to find someone who does children's swimming goggles with prescription.

Thanks

I think legally (in the UK) only opticians are allowed to sell them for children. We got some from Specsavers for around £30.

Yes only opticians can sell them. Go to specsavers.

Of course you can get them online, never had an issue. Used these guys very good, fast and don’t break the bank. Oh and my son was +9 in both eyes. I don’t think I ever specified I was buying for a child I just went looking for prescription goggles. They aren’t wearing them enough for me to worry, it’s not like glasses.

DD is around -4 and -5 and got hers from Specsavers too for £30. They're just off the shelf so don't take into consideration her astigmatism, but fine for swimming. Went in to order and they were ready for collection a day or two later.

I got adult ones from amazon for DD 9yo. She's short sighted, same in both eyes.

These ones, they fit fine with the small nose piece https://amzn.eu/d/021xqKpp

I got my 7 year old some from Goggleyed too. They're great, come with a storage bag, 3 sizes of the little bit that goes over the bridge of their nose.
Also they were super quick and helpful.
