I am going on baac in an to on work this week after a hip and groin injury. I work on my feet but am expected to look smart/stylish can anyone recommend some properly supportive orthopedic trainers/shoes that give proper hip and posture support but which also looks stylish. I'm in my early 40's so nothing too aging ideally.

Hoka are the best but not stylish, they are great support and come in bright colours. Your health and comfort are the priority, have you got an occupational health service in your work, if you're on your feet all day after a hip injury you may need adjustments and support from the manager.

Don’t wear running shoes (Hoka are mostly running shoes), they are designed to rock you forward, which is great for running but tiring for every day wear.

They were recommended to me by rheumatology, podiatry, physio and orthopedic team but perhaps the physio is the best person to ask.

Knee surgery patients all wear Skechers slip ons. They are a god send. Not sure if you have issues bending down to get shoes on?

In which case listen to the pros!

In this situation you wear what you're advised to by your medical team. What they look like doesn't matter. It's not worth setting back your recovery.

Thank you @MissMoneyFairy 🙄 I can read, I was simply saying what helps those who have in case she is suffering similar problems. My friend, who has had hip surgery, also swears by Skechers.
